Why We Formed. 


The Streetcar Impact Alliance was born out of a simple realization: A single shop owner or resident can be ignored, but a 30-block corridor of taxpayers cannot.

Between 42nd and 13th Street, our corridor is the heart of Omaha’s economy. While we support a growing city, the current streetcar rollout has prioritized track-laying over the survival of the businesses that make these streets worth visiting.

We are a non-partisan collective of shop owners, restaurateurs, and neighbors dedicated to ensuring that progress doesn't come at the cost of our community’s survival.
