On Saturday, Sept. 5, the Streetcar Impact Alliance is hosting Rally on the Route, a block party to celebrate and support businesses in the streetcar corridor.
From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., 16th Street between Farnam and Harney streets will be fenced off for food and drinks, family-friendly fun, beats by a local DJ, and performances and activities by the Omaha Symphony, Opera Omaha and more local community partners to be announced.
๐ Food and drink ๐บ
In the block party area, participating restaurants will operate food tents or will have their doors open, serving food and drinks for purchase. Nearby restaurants from 14th to 20th streets will also be ready to welcome you. Alcohol purchased from tents or businesses within the fenced-off area will be allowed throughout the block party area.

ฟ๏ธ Parking
@park.omaha will offer $1 garage parking at the Park One garage at 1516 Douglas St. and free metered street parking within 1 block of the event for the day.
Rally on the Route is being made possible by the generous support of The Lozier Foundation and the Weitz Family Foundation. The City of Omaha, also an event sponsor, is assisting with permits and coordination.
Construction isnโt fun, but block parties are. Join us to support Omaha businesses!
